Lampard is now desperate to defeat the crunch contest and return to a position above Martin O’Neill’s side. He said to The Times that Aston Villa is massive just because they are ahead of them.
He also added to the media that to remain in the chase they have to win the game though it is tough but they also have big players in the team. It is a strong team and they can do it.
The Villa Park match will be Guus Hiddink’s first game after he took charge. So far the boys are impressed with the new boss.
