After 3-1 win over the Liverpool, the Chelsea players have gained confidence. Lampard told to the media that Chelsea can still pull off a treble trophy success in this season.
Frank Lampard told to the team-mates that they must continue to play of the same level as they have played in the Champions League at Anfield. This will in fact help them to achieve the successful end to the season they desire.
Lampard said that the Blues are not till date been at their best this season but he also insists that because the past cannot be changed. Now it is high time that they focus on the future as that is still within the control.
He also added, “This result sets the tone really. Who knows what can happen in the league and the FA Cup? Everything is still up for grabs, even though we are behind in the league.”
Briefing further he said that all that can be affected by them is what they are going to do in the future. There have been times when the team been below par this season. But, yes, when they play like they did against Liverpool, then they can get such some positive results.
Fraank Lampard also says that the 3-1 victory in midweek will have caught everyone’s attention and also that the opposition teams may start to fear the Chelsea team more in the remaining weeks of this season.
