Lampard believes that winning of FA Cup is the perfect farewell for the departing temporary manager Guus Hiddink.
Guus Hiddink arrived in the month of February in the club and returns to coaching Russia full-time tonight. The 2-1 defeat of Everton at the Wembley was a fitting finale to a very successful spell in charge.
Frank Lampard said, “He’s a great manager and a great man. It’s a great send-off for him and we’re delighted to give him a trophy. It was amazing. After we went 1-0 down we dominated the game.” Drogba also hailed the battling qualities of team Chelsea that showed to come back from 1-0 down after the score of Saha, the fastest goal in FA Cup final history.
Drogba said, “It’s fantastic, I’m delighted. I’m really happy to finish the season this way.”
