Lampard’s signatured iPods strips for Hello Kitty co

The 5,000 gold-plated iPods with signature of Frank Lampard will be melted down reports sources to be replaced with Hello Kitty, a popular Japanese cartoon character.

The 24-iPod Touch was launched before the World Cup and was retailed for up to £599, but it was a dismal flop with the bad performance of England in the tournament.

The man who had oozed success with Premier League winner’s medals, loads of money and new girl friend Christine Bleakley, is now starting to go a bit pear-shaped.

The stripping of lovely gold with his signature is a bad news for him.

Well, he may not be the loser with this and neither the company. Frank Lampard will dus himself down and pick himself again back in form to delight football fans across the world for a few more years. The company will sell the iPods with the new look.

But the real losers are the poorly children of Teenage Cancer Trust, where the sale raise funds was suppose to be donated.
