Lampard speaks on 4-0 win over Kazakhstan

Lampard applauded a “professional” job by England after it was a 100% performance by them qualifying with a 4-0 win over Kazakhstan in World Cup Group Six.

Lampard had completed scoring from the penalty spot when Emile Heskey had been fouled. He said on this, “We had to get our heads down and work hard this week and focus on this game.”

He also added that it took for them about twenty minutes or half an hour to get going but then they won comfortably. He said that it was professional because there were things that they could have done better.

Lampard also said, “We are a on a confident run and we need to keep it going. We’ve taken a big step again.”

Lampard said that their main objective is to qualify and the sooner they do that will be better for them.

The manager of England, Fabio Capello, admitted that the home side’s strong start had caught his team out.

Capello said, “They started very strong and they were pressing a lot. For us it was not easy to play the ball.”
