Lampard had insisted that the players don’t just like Hiddink, but they also respect him for his immense talent. He had turned around to victory what had looked like being a somewhat troubled season. On the official website Lampard said, “We love him.” He also said that everyone in the team appreciates what Hiddink has done for the club. Moreover, the fans have taken to Guus very quickly.
Frank Lampard further mentioned, “The way he works behind the scenes obviously works, but the way he has conducted himself has been taken on board by the fans and the press and public, that’s why people respect him so much.”
