When senior Frank Lampard was at Watford last season then he had a rough time facing Chelsea, but he can’t wait for the game at Madejski Stadium tomorrow at 3pm.
He will be in the home alongside manager Brendan Rodgers and his son Frank is due to take to the field in a strong Chelsea line-up.
The senior was on the Watford bench and lost 3-1 to Chelsea in the FA Cup fifth-round in the last season. This pair came up for the first time against each other in a competitive match.
Former West Ham United left-back said, “It happened at Watford in the cup and I didn’t really enjoy that one too much.”
He further mentioned, “The build up was good, but when it came to the game it was obviously a bit strange.”
He even mentioned that there is no rivalry between him and Frank. According to him it is only a friendly and will be a good occasion for the supporters.
