Frank Lampard has a firm belief that youth team manager Brendan Rodgers will one day become a top manager. Even Frank senior thinks so about this 36-year-old Royals manager. At the time of Frank senior Rodgers was their Academy coach. Frank Lampard junior keeps a firm belief that it is definitely definite about Rodgers to be something special.
He said, “When the club took on Brendan I think it was a great move because it’s looking to the future… He is 100 per-cent going to be a top coach, a top manager.”
Lampard also said to the media that he Rodgers has high quality and he is highly respected by players at Chelsea despite his young age and experience..
He added, “I’m very pleased my dad is part of that, and I’m a little part of that too.”
In fact Frank senior was tempted back into football by Brendan Rodgers after both of them struck up a friendship at The Blues.
