Lampard says not easy to replace Ronaldo

Frank Lampard says that Manchester United may be signing Lionel Messi, the Barcelona star, if they had ever hoped to fulfill the place that has been left by Cristiano Ronaldo.

Cristiano Ronaldo had ended his 5-year spell with the Man Uni when he moved to the Real Madrid club. The move was a result of the Spanish giants launching an expensive rebuilding.

Frank Lampard believes that the loss of Manchester United could be the gain of Premier League because the fight for the trophy is now somewhat closer.

To the official website of Chelsea Football Club Lampard said, “It is very difficult to replace Ronaldo.” He also added, “I saw Alex Ferguson say that himself and I don’t think he will look to replace him. He will look to make the team strong as a whole by not having him. That is the only thing they can do.”

Lampard said that the amount of times he flicked on the telly and he saw Cristiano Ronaldo had scored and they had won one or two-nil. He also mentioned that Messi is probably the only player one could replace Ronaldo with.
