Frank Lampard insists that Chelsea does not require to spend much money this summer because all the boys are good enough in the club.
The Stamford Bridge has signed two new, Yuri Zhirkov and Daniel Sturridge.
Many of the transfer speculation that has surrounded the west Londoners have concerned players leaving and not arriving.
Frank Lampard said recently to the media that he is not at all bothered. He also insisted that unless a top name is available, there is no requirement for the club to spend.
He said, “I don’t think it is a necessity for Chelsea to go out and spend a ridiculous amount of money.” He also added in the interview that he is sure if one of the top players is available then Chelsea will try everything to sign them.
He even said that there are definitely few players who would add a lot to this team, but there are even millions players who would not bring much to the team because the squad is already so strong right across the board.
