Lampard has now lavished a good praise on the team-mate of England Wayne Rooney. He had singled him out as the best player that Lampard has ever played with.
Both of them may have been pitted against each other in ferocious club combat but both of them are on the same side at international level. Frank Lampard has seen enough of Wayne Rooney of the Manchester United to make his glowing judgment. Rooney is the striker in Manchester United.
Frank Lampard claims that his relationship with Rooney has blossomed after the time spent together with England.
Lampard said, ‘Wazza is the best.’ He also added, “When he exploded on to the England scene at 17 and played at Euro 2004 with me, I’d never seen anything like him for his power and all the other attributes he has that stand out.”
He further mentioned that as a midfielder whenever he gets the ball, he want to play it in behind the other team’s midfield or defence.
