Frank Lampard says that Harry Redknapp has turned the Tottenham team into a powerful side, which has become capable of breaking the top-four domination of the Premier League.
Redknapp is in fact uncle to Frank Lampard who saw the midfielder grow up at West Ham and he has even compared the desire of Lampard to perfect his game at early age to that of Tiger Woods, the golf star.
The mutual appreciation is very well clear now as Frank Lampard assessed Harry Redknapp’s Spurs team ahead of Sunday’s visit to Stamford Bridge. He said, “Harry saw me grow up so he knows the work I put in at a young age. He saw that as a big talent of mine, to work hard as a kid, and I respect Harry highly so it is very nice when he says things like that.”
Frank Lampard also mentioned that Harry has put together good sides again and again and Tottenham have spent very well. He added that when Redknapp joined the club then they were near the bottom of the table and now with the effort of him they have become a very powerful side having great attacking options.
