Frank Lampard revealed recently that he has a firm believe for his team-mate Didier Drogba that he has proved himself to become world’s best striker. Drogba has scored ten goals in just thirteen games this season including the Saturday’s 4-0 win of Chelsea over Bolton Wanderers.
Didier Drogba is from Ivory Coast and he trails Fernando Torres of Liverpool by one in the Premier League scoring stakes. Even of this, Frank Lampard believes that Drogba is the best in England as well as in the world.
He said, “He’s neck and neck with Fernando Torres in the goals chart, but for me Didier is the best in the world because of his all-round game.”
Lampard also adds that Drogba does not always get the credit he deserves for his finishing.
He mentions further, “He’s a very unselfish player, a lot of things get said about him but we know he gives everything for the team and he has achieved a lot of assists this season.”
