There was allegation that Frank Lampard has been a bad parent. He had a ferocious 10-minute row with LBC Radio’s James O’ Brien for calling him scum over his break-up with his fiancée. It was that she has been living in a flat with children and Lampard remained in the 8.5 million pounds family home according to the News of the World.
One of the close friends of Frank Lampard contradicted by saying, “Elen chose the new house herself, Frank paid for it. She is having it done in her taste from top to bottom, all paid for by Frank. Elen has been staying in a beautiful flat in Chelsea since the split, again chosen by herself. Frank is paying the rent. The suggestion he has short-changed Elen or left his kids in the lurch is laughable.”
Frank Lampard told to O’ Brien, “Every penny I earn, every yard I run on the football pitch is for my kids. I’m buying them a house which is of equal living standard, if not more, to mine.”
