Lampard defends protests after Chelsea lost against Barcel

Lampard felt that he has been kicked in the teeth after his club lost against Barcelona in the Champions League semifinal.

Frank Lampard said after the Stamford Bridge encounter: “You always know the situation and you know Barcelona have the ability to do something.”

He also added that they are disappointed and couldn’t take the extra chances but its a game of football and they have been kicked in the teeth.

He further mentioned, “When there’s at least three clean penalties not given I don’t think you expect people just to walk off the pitch and I don’t think too many questions should be asked.”

Even Michael Ballack, was frustrated with this penalties not given situation. He said, “It is a big disappointment the way we went out as we played fantastically well, tactically. We had plenty of chances.” He also mentioned that everyone saw there were a lot of decisions in the match that were not right.
