Frank Lampard thinks that on a personal level things have gone well in this season. He also thinks that his displays have been of such a consistently high standard that he has the feeling that it might well have been his best ever season as a player.
Lampard said to the official club magazine ‘Chelsea,’”I think this has been my best season - I feel maybe from experience, a bit more aware of things. My assists this year have been higher and I’ve been more aware of how and when to put people in.”
He also added that’s something he think that he can learn with age and it is this reason why many players who think about the game experience better years during their thirties because they are wanting to improve all the time.
He even said, “I watch football and I think sometimes people miss the early ball when there’s a bit of space for someone else so I always look to do that when I’m playing.”
