Hiddink praises Lampard-Terry duo

Many Chelsea managers have done this before, Praised Frank Lampard and John Terry. Guus Hiddink also does the same. He paid tribute to talented English pair; Frank Lampard and John Terry.

These two players have already etched their names on the club’s permanent history. The two continues to play with heart and have once again have come to notice to significantly influence the outcome of Chelsea’s recent hosting of Wigan Athletic.

Captain John Terry struck a superb volley that was as exquisite and at the same time it was surprising too. Lampard, just moments from the final whistle, cancelled out Kapo’s equaliser with a headed goal.

Hiddink, the manager of Chelsea, has only bossed three matches for the Blues but the result is that he maintains a 100 per cent record i.e. all the three win. He pointed out the contribution of the aforementioned duo, indicating his great respect for the Englishmen.

While talking to Setanta Sports, Hiddink said, “it is important to have those terrific professionals out there. I had respected them already from outside in my career. Now I know them from very close, my respect for them has grown.”
