Frank Lampard has been voted as Chelsea’s Player of the Season. For the third time Lampard has been picked up for such an accolade.
With this accolade, Lampard has now surpassed Chelsea legends John Hollins, Charlie Cooke, Ray Wilkins, John Terry, Dennis Wise and also Gianfranco Zola, who have been given the award twice.
Frank Lampard first time claimed this title in the year 2004 and next in 2005. He has featured in every one of the league games of Chelsea to this point, weighing in with 12 Premier League goals and a more 12 assists.
Frank Lampard’s strikes in the Champions League, FA Cup and also the League Cup embellish his scoring record to 20 in all competitions.
Though he missed out the PFA honours but is happy to have again gained accolade from his own fans.
Through the official website of Chelsea website Lampard said, “It feels great because of the amount of top-quality players who have won this award.”
