Chelsea confirmed that Frank Lampard will be playing against Inter Milan to be held on Wednesday in a Champions League match. The player missed the weekend premier league match victory over wolves but returned in time to give Coach Carlo Ancelloti some relief. Alex and Juliano Belletti also returned after clearing their fitness test for knee injuries. Others afflicting similar injuries like Yury Zhirkov, Jose Bosingwa, Michael Essien, Deco and Ashley Cole were all sidelined due to injuries.
Meanwhile Ancelloti want to take over Inter and wishing Chelsea victory to quiten their coach Jose Mourinho. Both had a bitter dialogue when Ancelloti was incharge of AC Milan.
Ancelloti declared openly in the newspaper “I know whole of Italy except Inter fans will be supporting Chelsea tomorrow night”. Talking about the former chief of Clelsea, Mourinho he said “he did a great job with the team, but it’s the ground I’d never go on”.
