After Lampard’s best pal John Terry made is personal life revelations and got stripped of his title as Captain of the club, Lampard made it quite clear that he was all for Rio Ferdinand taking Terry’s place.
“They are big personalities. The England captain has to be someone vocal in the squad. And Rio has always been like that,” claimed Lampard. Lampard admits there were some challenges over the changeover at first but he and the team are willing to get on with the business of playing and keeping the fans happy.
