After beating Andorra in recent UEFA WC Qualifying match, England are still unbeaten in Group Six. They are just 3 points away from a place at 2010 South African show-piece.
England stars are now grateful to their boss Fabio Capello for transforming the team. The nation’s fans are also grateful.
Frank Lampard, who scored second goal, said to the media, “It’s not as easy as it looks, playing these sides.”
He also added saying about Capello, “now has us performing like a team; we’ve found ourselves a little bit. We also appreciate what the fans have done – getting to the game today.”
David Beckham, having made his 100th start for the Three Lions, also complemented Capellos. He said, “The goals and the performance were for the fans,” he said. The spirit is good at the moment; there’s a professional atmosphere and a confidence. We know we’ve got the players, and the talent, so compliments to the lads.”
