Lampard says that he would love to win with his existing club the Premier League this season. In 2005 and 2006 the Chelsea Football Club were crowned champions, but after Jose Mourinho had left the Blues, the last three titles were won by Manchester United.
The UEFA Champions League is the first target for Frank Lampard. He also says that his priority is of wrestling the domestic crown from the Old Trafford.
To the media Lampard says, “The Champions League is definitely something I want to win but, for me, the league is where we need to get to the consistency levels we had a few years ago.”
Frank Lampard also adds further that there is a feeling among the team mates that they want to go one step ahead and get the back the consistency in the league and after that they can push on for the Champions League.
Lampard added, It’s a lovely feeling to be the best team in your country - and I want to get that back.”
Chelsea is now ahead of one point of the Manchester United in the race of the title.
