Frank Lampard says that the loss of Portuguese winger Cristiano Ronaldo can never be made up by Manchester United.
Man Uni recently sold Cristiano Ronaldo to the Real Madrid for eighty million pounds and had suffered an early title blow by losing 1-0 to Burnley on Wednesday.
Lampard in this regard said that loss and draws so early in the Premier League is never expected from such a big team.
He said to the media, “The league is probably closer now, which has been a bit of a natural thing over the past few years. In United’s case, you don’t want to draw the promoted teams so early in the season. They come out of the blocks to try and get some points.”
Lampard also added that the Burnley game was not fully unexpected but he thought that it might be a difficult game for them. He also mentioned further that the Blues have now got a little bit of a lead over them and also over the Liverpool.
